pearls and a fox

Sometimes the only time I leave my house (work hermiting) is to get a coffee so I try to keep that up.
For my coffee run today I was wearing some of my favorite things; The Overboard coat ( I just found 1 last piece in size 40 in stock!!) The Call Of The Wild earrings in gold, my plaid flannel shirt from the Tokyo fleamarket which I love so much. I got up today (dreamt of elephants painted in indigo powder which made it so difficult to see them in the dark) and suddenly felt like putting on my grandma's pearls which I never usually wear. Maybe I shall become a pearl wearing lady?

Hal Ashby's "Harold and Maude" is one of my favorite films of all times. When I saw it for the first time when I was 14 it just opened a door in my imagination and I was so happy I found this film, like a dear, dear friend. I I have seen it many times and I am watching it again today. I think there is no other film that shows joy, pain, heartbreak, hope, devastation, life and death so precisely co-existing.
So inspiring; the music, the colors, the outfits, the interiour design!

Here in the States is Thanksgiving! Happy Thanksgiving!!
I love this holiday. We always cook ridiculous amounts of beautiful food and I get to see the ocean in the Northfork. I feel so lucky for that.
I really just want to Thank each one of you and say I love you! Your support means everything to me!!

I wish you ever running over cups, meals cooked with love, tears cried of laughter and so much fun!

One thing I Love about jewelry is that it is sentimental, emotional and nostalgic and you can arrange it in little installations to warm your heart.
I like to store my jewelry in nice boxes but I also like have it out so I can get inspired by it and think of all the people it reminds me of..Even though I love working in a white room like this-In terms of my clothes and shoes and jewels the motto is "more is more" but only of the good stuff! I don't want anything I don't like in my closet and I am good at throwing stuff away, but I treasure the things I love and they keep on inspiring me in new combinations.

my cousin made me this amazing crochet flower wrist band and the amber necklace is my grandma's, My friend Moni gave me the stitched butterfly pin when we were teenagers. I am bad at treating my glasses well. They usually lay around in weird places and get dirty.
