Family Affairs featured in Kinki Magazine
Florence Ritter from Kinki Magazine called me up in Brooklyn and we had a nice, long chat/interview. At some point I had to open my closets to try to answer her questions. sometimes I don't really know how to answer what my style is or what I wear.
This wonderful article came out of our phone call. It's all about having a positive, glowing, daydreamy spring despite the doom and gloom of the economy.

"Across The Ocean Earrings" in annabelle
The "Across The Ocean" earrings are the only earrings (my favorites) from the Circe line! they are each handmade twisted 925 silver. featured in this month annabelle. they totally got it right: it's pure Cote d' Azur!I wish I was there right now.
the earrings are available in Switzerland at the beautiful concept store "8001" housed in the prestigous Grieder Dept. store. anatomy of the heart
I got in a bike accident today. I was wearing my silver high heels and it was my fault.nothing is broken just sprained and bruised.
when I was sitting in the doctor's office today i stared at a poster called "anatomy of the heart" and I loved it. if i had my camera handy I would have taken a picture. here is somthing similar looking:

outside rain inside trasures
I have a wonderful, sunny studio here in zurich. it's small but it's my little haven. here i have my inspirations, my music, my big table and tea. I work here every day and I love it. Is it weird that on a rainy day like today there is nothing I would rather do but work here? here are some of the things that make me happy here:

The Madness of it All
I used to collect records. I used to not be able to pass any record box. I had to chill out on the compulsion. especially after moving them up and down so many stairs. right now my whole collection is in storage! so sad. I still buy some here and there. but seriously only like 10 in the last year. I love records! I love record covers! I love slipping the record out of the cover. placing the needle on the record etc! getting carried away. oh and this has always been one of my favorite books.Now I just take photos of them. Here is my selection from the vintage store hotel close to my grandma they were just 1 frank each-how proud are you of me for resisting?

Julie and me went to visit our beloved grandma at her residence and of course stopped by the grand hotel converted into a vintage store one bus stop away from her. it's totally rural and there are some great things to find there! the hat collection is off the hook

ok so I have been secretly twittering, trying to figure how..and why to do it..I guess I am a communication addict and I am inspired by twitter extraordinaire bunny bisou. if you want you can follow me on twitter. it ain't brilliant but it might be fun!
California Feeling
One of my dearest friends, Jamila of 11:11 got married on the sly this new years and surprised us all by sending a video about it 2 month later! I can't wait to be her bridesmaid this september!
I sent Jamila some Family Affairs for spring to celebrate the joyous occasion!
So here she is modeling the "Garance" dress in one of her legendary jumping pics.
Oh California! you can already wear spring! I am wearing snow trekking shoes over here.

cruise with me
my darling assistant Eva and me treated ourselves to an hour of fleamarket-scoring and scouting this morning before we went to do the inventory at the office.
I just realized I only took pictures of blue objects today. I am attracted to the blues
Eva and me both love Minnie Ripperton and found her record at my godmother's booth at the fleamarket!
Anneliese and her husband Richard run an amazing shop of American vintage furniture, jewelry, and one of the best record collections in Zurich, it's called "Bikini" at Zeughausstrasse 55
Eva with a darling hat.
There was no mirror so Eva took a pic of these Christian Dior glasses on me. I bought them for $17. splurge of the week.

later in the day during an inventory break; Eva with her "Pferdefreundin" one of a kind necklace. heart to heart
I scored these funny deep winter shoes at the fleamarket. finally I will be warm again and spring is around the corner. also i got this fun little wallet bag and the ring is the new Circe ring and is right now exclusively available at "ON Y VA"

i am a bit shy about posting this. Tina, Julie and me watched it live last night all wearing striped t-shirts for some reason, we looked like wanna-be sailor amateurs. I was hiding my head under a pillow for parts of it. my voice is even lower than usual because I lost my voice (again) a couple of weeks ago.

BLONDE magazine -Toujours Toi write up
a couple of weeks ago i got an email with the subject line "blonde magazine loves you!"
so I answered the interview questions about what inspires me and which TT pieces are my favorites and why. I think I was supposed to pick to pick 2 but I picked 4 and almost got carried away writing about them.
The magazine was just launched. I haven't seen it in the flesh but online and I am happy to say
"I love Blonde Magazine"
