I totally forgot to blog about this great project I did for the "Interior Design" section of the NZZ newspaper.
Rebekka Kiesewetter commissioned me to do collages for different themes of living, such as "moving", "Finding a place" etc.

I love interior design and doing those collages was so much fun! for me collaging is like making movies or creating a collection; many little parts make a whole and then suddenly the main theme or character appears..

Last night was very inspiring. I really enjoyed Afredo Häberlein's show at the Museum for Gestaltung and I was lucky to meet the brilliant illustrator Anoushka Matus at the dinner.

I kind of wanted to write that we had a great weekend in italy! don't these pics look like we are in tuscany? the truth is that it was a perfect italian evening in zurich with wani and nadja. I wonder if i will make it to Italy this summer? keep on dreaming.

Speaking of Venice: I found this crazy but good Moschino piece at the salvation army yesterday for $5 and it shows the "skyline" of Venice... the tag says "Cruise me Baby" love it.

i met these two hyper cool kids in Lausanne at the my design district show. their label is called Solange La Frange. Julie got some jewelry from me, then i went upstairs to check out their super fun booth and we traded this great t-shirt dress for some more jewlery.

yesterday i finally got to see the beautiful new store ON Y VA at Zähringerplatz 15 in Zürich. They carry Toujours Toi as well. the concept, style and heart of the store comes from the HopeHope ladies sybil and marisa. it's very inspiring! like shopping in an elegant, beautiful, spacious boat..

sara is a super-gem in my life and one of my very best friends. sara makes everything around her beautiful, if you meet her once you will never forget her. we have been friends since we were dancers in college. seems like lifetimes away.

The Planet Utopia necklace has just been featured in Lan's flight magazine. I love it. It's a Latinamerican airline.

Inside magazine

I just got the Inside Magazine in the mail a couple of days ago. Nora Baldenweg wrote the article. we first sat together for an interview like 9 months ago in Paris during fashion week at a real dark, grimy sailor's bar called "Le Navy" where people were drunk and broke into Edith Piaf songs. In the meantime many things changed but we saw eachcother different places and so the interview developed into this article which was born at "Le Navy".

Philip Müller found this dream location in Basel..we took over this little kiosk with make-up, hairspray, all props, a rack of clothes, lot's of food etc. when the owner showed up, he was soo nice and laid back. and here the BEST part: when we were done shooting (in time!!) we were abel to sit down at one of the tables and eat such yummie food and have some good wine. i thought i was in a dream all day.

wowow-what a day!!!

yesterday was one of the best days ever! we had an amazing shoot for Family Affairs. it all came together so spontanously. I will write more details soon! but right now my head is so hot. I might have gotten too much sun yesterday
